Overview

Located right next to Old Man’s Cave, this popular campground features direct access to the trails of the Hocking Hills area.

Things to note

  • Cellular service is VERY limited.  The check in office has a wireless guest account but it is very slow.  If you are looking to “plug in” your best option is the the Lodge, their guest connection is pretty solid.
  • No OTA TV service, if you are lucky you might get a few WOSU stations, so plan accordingly
  • The closest large grocery stores (see nearby tab) are Walmart and Kroger, still about 9 miles away.
  • We were pretty surprised to see how tight they pack people into this park.  We typically stay at State parks due to the size of the lots, these sites, unfortunately were not like that.
